About The Role
The Billing Specialist II performs various general support tasks in our Corp Billing department, supporting our regional Accounting/Segment teams.
What You’ll Do
Outside Contractors Management
- Manage and supervise all US Outside Contractor requests
- Maintain and review daily Service Now requests to adhere to 24hr turnaround time for processing
- Maintain and review daily Service Now requests to adhere to 24hr turnaround time for processing
- Review the request for client matter approval
- Check the timekeeper calendar for possible submission of duplicate time entries
- Prepare files for upload:
- Formatting of dates
- Timekeeper status
- Client matter status
- Task codes
- Review for accuracy of jurisdiction code
- Formatting of dates
- Review, upload and troubleshoot errors
- Forward contractor invoice to Accounts Payable for payment
- Communicate with Finance Team Leaders regarding any issues, concerns or accruals
International Intercompany Management
- Process LATAM time/cost uploads
- Prepare files for upload:
- Formatting of dates
- Timekeeper status
- Client matter status
- Task codes
- Review jurisdiction codes for accuracy
- Formatting of dates
- Review, upload and troubleshoot errors
- Communicate with Finance Team Leaders regarding any issues/concerns

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a corporate role, supporting billing or basic accounting procedures
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional services or legal/law firm experience
- Ability to multitask and manage deadline requirements
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Working knowledge of PC and network environments
- Competency in use of Excel and other MS office tools
- Experience recording AP invoices, AP payments and AR cash receipts
- Billing experience using an ERP system
- Organizational, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Proven ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
