About The Role

The Forensic & Litigation Consulting practice offers one of the industry's most complete range of advisory services to clients across the world. Our service offerings include anti-money laundering compliance and investigations; Bribery and corruption investigations; forensic accounting; fraud and other financial crime investigations; governance, risk and regulatory advice; regulatory investigations and litigation support and transactional data analytics. 

 

Joining as a Consultant in our Forensic team, you will be involved in complex and high-profile dispute and investigation cases. Working on behalf of law firms, corporations, governments and high net worth individuals you will be involved in teams with forensic, investigative, data analytic and litigation experience to provide our clients the best possible service.



 

What You’ll Do 

 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of accounting disputes, damages analysis and financial investigations, which will include preparing expert witness reports. These will generally involve interactions with other team members, client personnel and professionals from other firms involved in our engagements. Your primary responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Forensic accounting and financial analysis of complex transactions, including identification of irregularities and preparation of forensic analyses and reports.

  • Interpretation of financial statements, accounting records and business plans, applying relevant standards depending on the jurisdiction.

  • Fraud investigations, including analysis of transactional flows, detection of patterns, and assessment of supporting evidence.

  • Damages reviews and assessment in the context of litigation.

  • Structuring and analysing financial and documentary information to ensure traceability of events and enable effective investigation workflows.

  • Use of data analytics (particularly transactional data analysis) to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of financial risk.

  • Preparation of reports, presentations, and findings, communicating results clearly to clients, legal advisors, regulators, and other stakeholders.

  • Support in project management activities, including planning, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with multidisciplinary and international teams.

  • Support in crisis situations and compliance projects, focused on fraud prevention, risk management enhancement, and strengthening compliance frameworks.

  • Occasional involvement in business development activities, including support for proposals (RFPs), client presentations, and relationship management.

What You Will Need to Succeed

 

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, with strong foundations in financial and management accounting.

  • 1–2 years of experience in consulting, audit, or financial advisory, ideally in audit, accounting, forensic, risk, or transaction services.

  • Solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting standards.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, patterns, and anomalies in financial and transactional data.

  • Basic experience in financial data analysis, ideally handling large datasets (advanced Excel essential; Power BI or similar tools a plus).

  • Familiarity with audit or financial review processes, including documentation of findings and ensuring traceability of information.

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and structured reports in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in financial crime, compliance, and forensic analysis.

  • Ability to operate as part of a team (both with junior and senior team members) and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations

  • Ability to travel

  • Nice to have: exposure to disputes, fraud investigations, compliance, risk management, or regulatory environments.
