About the Role
Our Forensic Litigation and Consulting team in India are involved in complex, global and high-profile investigations, and proactive advisory on compliance programs, combining end-to-end risk advisory and investigative expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.
In addition, the Risk Advisory and Investigations team analyzes data, reviews documents and information, conducts research and investigations to uncover actionable intelligence and performs value-added analysis to help decision-makers address and mitigate risk, protect assets, and make informed investment decisions to maximize opportunities.
Our experts conduct independent investigations to help clients resolve a variety of issues, including:
- Forensic Accounting
- Fraud investigations
- Whistleblower allegations
- Anti-bribery and foreign corruption (FCPA / UK Bribery Act / PCA) investigations and risk assessments
- Assets searches
- Review and analysis of electronically stored information
- Vendor screening & assessment programmes
- Intellectual property/data theft and brand protection
- Litigation and compliance support
- Political risk assessments
- Due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cross-border transactions
- Business intelligence
Position Summary
As a Consultant, you will contribute to client matters by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time with regular supervision. You will typically undertake tasks such as analysing accounting and financial data, reviewing non-financial information, performing calculations, carrying out research, documenting your work and supporting in preparation of client deliverables. You are expected to communicate effectively with other team members, and to take an interest in how your work fits into the overall project plan.
You will work with senior members of the team, and receive internal training, on-the-job coaching and mentoring. You will need to develop a strong knowledge across sectors, keeping in mind relevant compliance elements, fraud risks and any other developments in the field.
For the Consultant role, you will execute and complete client engagements, with responsibility for day-to-day activities.
What You’ll Do
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time with regular supervision
- Reconstruct accounting records from incomplete information.
- Analyze and interpret large volumes of financial and non-financial information.
- Assess the reliability of accounting evidence.
- Assist in investigative interviews, and client meetings.
- Review and analyze electronically stored information, utilizing technology based platforms
- Undertake company and industry analysis.
- Perform financial, ratio and comparable company analysis and financial and discounted cash flow modelling.
- Prepare draft expert reports and client reports and presentations.
- Assist senior team members with new business development activities.
- Contribute to company initiatives and team development activities.
- Undertake networking and marketing activities to begin to develop professional contacts.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field;
- At least 2-4 years’ experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigations or corporate compliance.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficient in carrying out analytics on Microsoft Excel, and preparing deliverables in PowerPoint, Word etc.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with senior teams and clients.
- Professional, ethical, and dependable.
- Willingness to travel and attend meetings across global time zones.
