Director - Blockchain & Cryptocurrency

About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a dynamic, highly entrepreneurial, and knowledgeable blockchain and cryptocurrency Director to add to our growing Blockchain and Cryptocurrency practice. Primary Duties:

• Support client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, investigative services, expert reports, and support business development activities at a strategic and tactical level. 
• Translate client requirements into formal agreements, establishing specific solutions/workflows, and lead the efforts that culminate in client acceptance of the results.
• Develop each clients blockchain solution, excel at project consulting and management, deliver product selection and implementation, and achieve outstanding implementation results.
• Responsible for contractual cost estimation, budget adherence, schedule creation, timeline management, and other deliverables.
• Manage resources and co-ordinate client resources to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization and the program.
• Working with Blockchain & Cryptocurrency team, Information Governance, Privacy & Security team and other segments within the firm to lead specific use-case development of Blockchain innovation for our clients.

• Work closely with leadership to significantly contribute to thought-leadership initiatives, go to market strategies, sales efforts, and other practice development activities.

Relevant Experience:

• Deep working knowledge of distributed ledger technologies, blockchain based systems, and various forms of cryptocurrencies.

• Expertise with AWS Dashboard, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Smart Contracts required.

• Investigative experience required, whether specific to cryptocurrencies or other digital forensic activities.

• Ability to support business development activities with an emerging technology in a highly dynamic environment, understanding business challenges, explain our offerings and services to provide value and identify opportunities for differentiated offerings based on distributed ledger technology.

• Proven story-telling ability to explain blockchain outcomes and results in context of the business and/or industry to make it actionable.

• Successful hands-on full-lifecycle project experience with software deployment and implementation a plus.

• Ability to identify client’s high-level business needs to lead the creation of detailed use cases and functional specs.

• Experience working within consulting and/or Fortune 500 companies.

• Knowledge of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies evolution including: applicability in enterprise business, key limitations in system implementations, future enterprise potential, solid understanding of building and measuring via a proof of concepts, end state enterprise architecture, business integration, change management, and various software solutions for DLT deployment.

• Strong understanding of industry leading blockchain protocols and platforms. 

• Outstanding at written and speaking skills; must be able to write official reports, forensic reports, and demonstrate an ability to convey the complexity of blockchain and cryptocurrencies in easy-to-understand ways.

• Experience in building high-performing teams in an accelerated growth environment.

• Hands-on experience with blockchain architecture and development, including AWS, Corda, Hyperledger Fabric, and Solidity for smart contracts.

• Understanding of development in DLT including Node.js, Go, Composer, web3.js, Geth, Corda, Solidity, etc.) is a plus.

• Familiarity with basic cryptography and P2P networks.

• Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information.
