About The Role

This job may involve working in areas such as Electronic Discovery (eDiscovery), Data Investigations, Data Management, Processing and Analysis of digital data. As part of the Technology Services team, a Director will be responsible for supporting client projects and tasks involving collection, processing and production of computer and digital data, data management, document review support, and ad-hoc technical assistance and solution development.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and utilise SQL scripts to convert incoming/outgoing document data into a desired format
  • Work independently leveraging the knowledge of our processes, workflows, services, and technology to advise and support internal and external project requirements
  • Builds working relationships with internal and case teams to understand client requests, make informed recommendations, and manage expectations. Provide timely updates on progress of projects and tasks
  • Identify areas of improvement in our services, processes, workflows and internal applications and work with the larger team on developing solutions
  • Brainstorm solutions and help develop tools and scripts to improve automation, efficiency, quality, and reliability
  • Lead or contribute to developing custom solutions for non-standard requests
  • Coordinate tasks with global team to meet deadlines
  • Assume responsibility for day-to-day data processing, conversion, analysis, quality control, import, and other specialized tasks including interaction with other consultants, supervisors, and client personnel
  • Utilise applications and tools to meet client requirements or to improve efficiency
  • Lead in evaluation, quality assurance and deployment of new solutions and software
  • Contributes to business development and growth efforts by participating in functional initiatives
  • Be customer-service-oriented to meet client deadlines, including working out of business hours when necessary
  • Commit to producing high quality work product
  • Manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Demonstrates an ability to self-learn and solve complex problems with well thought out innovative solutions
  • Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while handling multiple tasks through completion

What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology focused subject such as Computer Science, Information Systems; or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with data manipulation, data conversion and data analysis work in Microsoft SQL Server or any other database platform, or 2 years plus Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems related field
  • Moderate knowledge of technology, computers, and computer networking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience of data manipulation tasks, data conversion and data analysis activities in a SQL environment
  • Strong ability to create and understand Microsoft SQL Server scripts and stored procedures
  • Knowledge of and experience in operating an E-Discovery platform such as Relativity, Nuix Discover or others
  • Familiarity with managing, processing, converting, and analyzing data from cloud, social media, and other emerging digital data sources such as O365, MS Teams, One drive, Dropbox, Slack, GSuite etc.
  • Familiarity with processing and converting mobile device data extractions (Cellebrite or Oxygen Forensics extractions)
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, and any related Reporting platform
  • C#.Net programming experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and related software, especially Business applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good communicator who can explain technical problems to non-technical colleagues and clients
  • Good client interfacing (verbal and written), customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible with working evenings and weekends upon request
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while handling multiple tasks through completion
  • Ability to take initiatives and understand tasks quickly with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow instructions thoroughly while paying attention to details
  • Problem solver with proven analytical skills
