About the Role
We are involved in complex, global and high-profile litigation, arbitration and investigations combining end-to-end risk advisory, investigative and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.
As a Director, you will be responsible for providing accounting advisory and forensic accounting services and other analytical skills to various client situations.
What You’ll Do
Forensic Investigation & Analysis
- Conduct forensic investigations into fraud, financial misconduct, asset misappropriation, and reporting irregularities.
- Analyze complex evidence, including accounting records, bank statements, contracts, and digital communications.
- Apply advanced technical skills to evaluate client situations using ASPE, IFRS, and OSC requirements (US GAAP/SEC knowledge is an asset).
- Perform technical accounting research utilizing online tools and publicly available information.
Litigation Support & Documentation
- Draft expert reports and written analyses for use in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
- Support legal counsel during discovery, document production, and trial/hearing preparation.
Leadership & Project Management
- Lead daily project operations, coordinating between clients, internal teams, and third-party professionals on forensic, risk, and litigation engagements.
- Execute PMO functions, including managing project scope, monitoring progress, and reporting results to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting
- Chartered Professional Accountants or foreign equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in audit or forensic accounting, investigations, litigation support, and disputes
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- CFE, CFF, CAMS, or other forensic/investigative credentials (either credentials already held or interested in pursuing)
- Experience acting as (or supporting) an expert witness
- Experience with fraud investigations, damage quantification, or complex commercial disputes
- French Language
