About The Role

 

The GHRSC In-Country Officer / Administrator is responsible for providing cross-segment support where Country specific HR administration is required. The HR Officer / Administrator works closely with the in-country Business Partner in supporting FTI’s key HR transactions, policies and initiatives. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

Human Resources

 

  • Build relationships with HR Business Partners and key stakeholders in the business
  • Act as primary point of escalation for HR Business Partners on HR Administration.
  • Responsible for end-to-end processes including but not limited to: job data change management, offboarding, global mobility cases, leave management and contingent workforce lifecycle management
  • Audit new hire data, job requisition coding, job data changes and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR Advisors for project-based initiatives 
  • Assist with performance management and annual compensation review process
  • Assist with advanced reporting across all HR systems as requested
  • Communicate HR policies and processes
  • Responsible for documenting process changes and employee content, as well as creating and maintaining Knowledge Articles
  • Provide support to ad hoc processes and projects
  • Point of contact with recruitment team to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Collaborate with HRBP to ensure a great experience for new employees during first days and week at the office

 

Payroll

 

  • Ensure all payroll processes are completed accurately and on time for Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden;
  • Make sure payroll processes comply with Employment law/FTI internal process and reduce risks;
  • Provide first-line assistance with HR and Payroll queries from employees including advising on employee benefits and pay queries; provide information and assistance to staff on HR and work-related issues;
  • Ensure all benefit systems and processes are administered accurately with relevant timeframes in accordance with appropriate legislation. This may include company car management, insurance schemes, bonus etc. Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay and benefits systems;
  • Assist in the management of absence across the business;
  • Monitor scheduled absences such as holidays, leaves and travel and coordinate actions to ensure the staff absence has been adequately covered off.

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of labor laws in Belgium
  • Experience across multiple HR functions including HR compliance & policies, data updates, payroll, benefits, compensation, etc.
  • Experience and/or working knowledge of Belgian payroll
  • Experience of HR administrative processes
  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience with the following systems or software is a plus: CRM Software (ServiceNow), HCM Software (PeopleSoft), SAP, Learning Management System (SABA), Onboarding platforms (SuccessFactors Onboarding), Performance Management system (Career Navigator), Leave Management system (TeamSeer)
  • Experience and/or working knowledge of Nordics payroll
  • Written and verbal communication skills in French would be a plus but is not essential
  • Knowledge of labor laws in the Netherlands and Nordics would be beneficial but not essential
