Managing Director - Operations & Performance Improvement
What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications & Experience
- Educated to university degree level (or equivalent), preferably in business or engineering
- Demonstrable significant operational performance improvement experience (not limited to operational excellence, lean management), preferably in an industrials and manufacturing environment
- Ability to demonstrate deliverable results across multiple functions in the following focus areas: o Business plan review/development
o Performance improvement (including diagnosis)
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent consulting and leadership skills to motivate teams assuring a good working environment under pressure, specifically:
o Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to lead team members and clients at all levels using a range of styles to suit the audience
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Relationship building skills, with the ability to quickly develop strong working relationships
o Proven ability to take a hypothesis focused approach to solve problems
o Excellent organizational and planning skills and confident working with several demanding stakeholders, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
o Preferably skilled in Lean management
- Strong commercial acumen/market awareness
- Strong collaboration skills and ability
- Flexible approach to work, with the desire and capability to work across sectors, project types and regions
- International cultural awareness (given the global nature of our clients)
