About The Role

This position is a part of FTI Consulting’s Acuity team which includes supporting, coordinating, managing and participating in document reviews at the direction of FTI clients.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee reviewer timekeeping process; work with all review managers for timesheet approvals and edits to finalize weekly payroll; import all timesheets into billing system (globally); analyze data as to accuracy; run rates and for ad hoc purposes; upload data into the Acuity system

  • Have responsibility for RM security profiles within ADP and QuickBase; generate informational reports

  • Responsible for Finance-related tasks inclusive of generating and editing of weekly/monthly client project revenue reports; generates analytic reports for review by key stakeholders

  • Manage all matter setups for the Acuity team across multiple systems; coordinate end project tasks within the system

  • Reconcile Sales Force project information into Acuity system

  • Manage weekly global reviewer counts and runs weekly Operational Statistical Summary reports as well as running other reviewer related reports

  • Computer asset management; manage the laptop process for the US and Canada, including shipments, returns, FedEx issues, missing equipment, damage reports, and escalation emails; run analytic reports; work with the VMR team and others to ensure smooth delivery of services

  • Work on Acuity level initiatives with regards to operational procedures including VMR equipment issue resolutions or efficiencies

  • Serve as the main contact for laptop vendor and liaises with the Staffing team to ensure accuracy of reviewer contact information

  • Until recently managed employee resource assets for the Acuity operational team (lost due to downsizing); picked up percentage of their responsibilities

  • Serve as Tier 2 escalation for any reviewer operational issues or questions

  • Contribute significantly to process improvements and QC methodology across Acuity reviewer and revenue data

  • Identify and prioritize product and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation

  • Manage ad-hoc projects/processes

What You Will Need To Succeed  

Basic Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of operational or paralegal experience required, preferably in a legal or professional services environment

  • Existing operational expertise with regards to equipment rentals, HRIS systems, and database project tracking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage 700+ equipment assets at once

  • Ability to resolve challenging problems in collaboration with other Operations team members

  • Ability to foster strong relationships with vendors

  • Skilled in working concurrently on multiple urgent tasks and meeting tight deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize conflicting needs

  • Positive attitude and self-motivated

  • Able to manage day to day operational tasks with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication skills essential

  • Ability to influence others within the team as needed
