About The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a Public Opinion Analyst in Washington, DC as part of the newly re-formed Digital & Insights practice. This role will:

• Provide support for both research logistics and analysis, and manage various levels of projects. Responsibilities include writing proposals, instruments, reports, as well as supervising data collection and tabulation. • Help direct projects that involve primary research and media research methodologies.

• Manage projects and work collaboratively with senior leaders on large-scale and global projects. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience conducting opinion and marketing research using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies

• Experience with a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and analytics tools (formal training is preferred but not required);

• Very strong writing skills;

• Effectiveness in creating PowerPoint presentations of findings (additional programs such as Tableau or other platforms is preferred but not required);

• Excellent communications and time-management skills;

• Ability to see a project through its lifespan (with supervision) – from collaborating on design methodology to developing instruments, working with vendors, and analyzing data;

• High level of attention to detail;

• Experience working in analytics is a plus, but not required;

• Has an approach to research that is highly collaborative, including enjoyment of sharing ideas, learning new approaches, and mentoring staff.

• Experience managing research projects, including supervising staff and coordinating vendors;

• At least one year in a multi-client market research agency, with simultaneous responsibilities for multiple projects;

• Experience and skill in moderating focus groups and conducting executive interviews;

• Proven ability to market services either through successful proposals or direct pitches;

• Strong verbal presentation and public speaking skills, including the ability to translate research terminology into commons language in both presenting and writing.
