About The Role
FTI Consulting is looking for mission-focused, strategic and process-minded Senior Financial Analyst to help with the company’s global financial reporting and analysis function. This individual will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis. They should have significant experience in the identification, development and roll-out of integrated management reports and provide meaningful analysis. 

The ideal candidate will be team oriented, have a willingness to understand, analyze and evaluate businesses within a variety of industries, and have a strong affinity to work with large amounts of data and analytical tools.

 

What You’ll Do

Analyze corporate and business operating results to support the development of monthly reporting packages. 

Produce monthly management reports for Executive Management and the Board of Directors, including the preparation of financial information, key metrics and variance analysis. Build upon existing reports by leading the design and often creation of reporting to measure business results. 

Support the company-wide annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes and maintain models that support the consolidation and presentation to Executive Management. 

Provide financial data and reporting to support press releases, quarterly scripts, 10K and 10Q reporting, investor presentations, as well as other external/public reporting.  

Conduct headcount analysis on an as needed basis, coordinating with segment/regional teams. 

Assist in maintaining the integrity of our information systems (i.e., ERP) to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial and operational reports. 

Work with large amounts of data to create models that depict trends, develop analytical frameworks to test and critique operational and financial data, and work with department managers to support reporting requirements. 

Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives. 

Continuously improve the accuracy and speed of recurring reporting.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • 3+ years of post-graduate relevant experience in financial areas with concentration in financial analysis, particularly in a Corporate FP&A function

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/CPA/CFA
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics software, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations
  • Experienced in budgeting and forecasting, development of variance and trend financial analysis
  • Experienced user of financial systems (e.g., TM1, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, or other reporting tools)
  • Exposure to development of integrated management reporting
  • Exposure to US GAAP accounting and external reporting processes (10K’s, 10Q’s, etc.)
  • Experienced user of other Microsoft Office suite products (i.e., Word and PowerPoint)
