The Team (Corporate Finance/Business Transformation)


The Business Transformation practice (BT) is an emerging and growing team focussed on providing excellent Operational Consulting to Private Equity and Corporate clients.  BT sits within FTI’s Corporate Finance segment, supporting clients with high-impact and sustainable changes focused on the five major elements of business - driving revenue growth, reducing operating and supply chain costs, supporting transactions – buy side and sell side, transforming finance and processes, and optimising people and improving productivity.

BT serves private equity and corporate clients in critical situations, with particular emphasis on supporting transactions, mergers and acquisitions, carve outs and organisation transformation.


Our BT team works with clients in Australia to:

  • Provide pre-deal Commercial , operational and technology due diligence
  • Support post-merger integration or carve out support including Day-1 and 100-day planning
  • Create and implement business strategies with clients focusing including utilising IT & operational levers to drive value
  • Realign the performance through operational improvements to positively impact the earnings and cashflow within the business
  • Take interim management positions for example (and depending on experience) CEO, CFO etc.
