Senior Managing Director - Information Governance, Privacy & Security

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: FTI Technology boasts an award-winning Information Governance, Privacy & Security (IGP&S) practice designed to help organizations better manage their information. The Senior Managing Director (“SMD”) will function as a leader in our IGP&S practice. 

PRIMARY DUTIES: The IGP&S SMD will be responsible for marketing FTI’s offerings in alignment with our strategy.  They should be adept at finding the most efficient use of technology across the spectrum of client requirements with depth and experience in the application of electronic discovery and knowledge management solutions. Primary duties include delivery of advisory and managed services in the IGP&S space for corporations and government entities. The SMD would also expect to Identify and secure significant new revenue from corporations and law firms as well as attract and train new talent to the IGP&S practice.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign education equivalent)

·        10 years of experience

·        At least 5 years of prior experience in the discovery consulting workspace

PREFERRED SKILLS:

·        Graduate or PhD degree

·        Ability to plan and manage discovery for and across major litigations involving large data volumes

·        Leadership and supervision of service delivery teams of various sizes

·        Ability to build relationships with potential clients and to leverage those relationships into new engagements for the Company

·        Experience with Corporate process improvement or process design involving Information Governance is also required.
