Position Summary 

 

We are seeking a Graduate to join our Melbourne, Construction Solutions team. With a competitive salary, this is a full-time role offering excellent career opportunities and professional development for your future progression within the firm.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Quantity surveying / cost management and/or project management / forensic delay analysis.
  • Use of project management / planning software such as Primavera P6.
  • Providing support to leading Quantum and Delay Experts involved in international arbitration and litigation.
  • Providing support to senior members of the team involved in the preparation of contractual claims (for time and money) on construction and engineering projects.
  • Management / manipulation of commercial information / cost data (MS Excel).
  • Primarily Melbourne based, possibly with some interstate and/or international travel.

  

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate / Graduate with an interest in and/or some experience working in a construction / engineering environment.
  • Some site-based experience is preferable, but not mandatory.
  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a surveying / construction / engineering and/or mining discipline.
  • An interest in construction law and dispute resolution, with a desire to progress a career with a leading international construction consultancy.
  • An interest in pursuing / obtaining professional (chartered) status post qualification.
  • Must have excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Must be fully conversant with MS Office and possess excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple client matters at one time.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with senior team members and clients in demanding, deadline-driven situations.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity and high level of professionalism.
