About the Role
Sitting within FTI Consulting’s Forensic and Litigation Consulting (FLC) practice, the Business Intelligence (BI) team conducts a range of corporate investigations assignments, uncovering actionable intelligence, supporting clients in commercial disputes, and providing clear analysis to help decision-makers address and mitigate risk, protect assets and maximise opportunities in a variety of jurisdictions worldwide. The team’s expertise lies in investigative due diligence, asset tracing, fraud and anti-corruption investigations, litigation support, whistleblower allegations, third-party integrity screening, political risk assessments and other bespoke engagements.
BI offers a two-month paid internship available throughout the year. The practice is therefore seeking internship applications from final year undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. We are looking for applicants with a keen interest in global affairs and anti-corruption issues, a sharp curiosity and a flair for intellectually stimulating work. This will be accompanied by a desire to hone their investigative skills, and an inclination to use these to tackle complex financial and business-critical situations.
What You’ll Do
Interns will work alongside the BI team’s multi-lingual team of consultants, experts and journalists during the internship period. Using a number of specialist investigative tools and databases, interns will support the BI team, as well as the FLC EMEA team more broadly, with work such as the following:
- Various research tasks and analysis for live assignments;
- Prepare briefing notes for external resources; and
- Marketing support including business development research.

- Applicants must be in their final year of B.A., studying a postgraduate degree, or have recently completed their B.A. or postgraduate studies
- We have a preference for Arabic speaking candidates, but please still apply if you have fluency in either Dutch, French, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Polish, Russian, Turkish or Ukrainian.
- Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Candidates must display a capacity to conduct independent research
- Must exhibit sophisticated problem-solving skills and investigative mindset
