About The Role
In this role, you’ll be working in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment of FTI in our Bogotá office. This segment provides law firms, companies, government entities, private equity firms and other interested parties with a multidisciplinary and independent range of services in risk and investigations and disputes. Specifically, you will be working in the Disputes Advisory (DA) team within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment. The DA team at FTI specializes in providing strategic advice and expert services to assist clients involved in complex disputes, including litigation and international arbitration. DA’s offering includes a comprehensive range of services, from investigative support and fact-finding to expert witness testimony and the calculation of damages. As part of these services, FTI helps clients navigate the intricacies of legal disputes by leveraging its in-depth knowledge of market conditions, regulatory environments, and technical areas such as valuation, corporate finance, forensic accounting, and investigations.
What You Will Need To Succeed
Successful candidates should demonstrate strong critical and logical thinking, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to identify inconsistencies or anomalous patterns in large datasets. They should also be able to produce clear and comprehensible written reports. In addition, they should be flexible and able to adapt to different contexts and working methodologies, integrate and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, and maintain clear communication, a proactive attitude, and a problem-solving mindset.
In addition to this, the candidate must comply with the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
· Senior year of undergraduate degree or recent graduate.
· Advanced level of Excel.
· Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or recent graduate) in finance, economics, and/or accounting.
· Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Preferred qualifications
· Previous work experience.
· Experience with data visualization tools.
