About The Role

  • Full-time internship (6 months duration) within FTI Consulting's Cyber team
  • Possibility to extend internship / hire as Analyst upon necessity and demonstrated excellent performance and cultural fit.

Your responsibilities
As part of our Cyber Security Team, you will combat cybercrime and protect the corporate values and reputation of national and international clients from cyberattacks, supporting their security with optimal long-term solutions and strategies.

This internship will start dates between January and March in 2025 for six months and is located in our office in Madrid.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Forensic and Litigation practice in advising companies that have been victims of cyberattacks.
  • Delivering quick analyses of technical data to detect breaches and understand root causes and impacts.
  • Assisting in digital forensic investigations.
  • Generating threat intelligence and conducting digital threat assessments.
  • Contributing to demanding, concise reports for law firms, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.
  • Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of industry-critical trends, threats, methods, and technologies.
  • Assisting with remediation measures for clients following a breach, if applicable.
  • Bringing expertise and skills to take a thought leadership role in relevant topics.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and submitting proposals to expand our service portfolio.
  • Gaining insights into special investigations for fact-finding, preventing economic crime, and improving compliance management and internal control systems.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  •  Candidates are required to be a recent graduate or in the last year of a degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics or double  degree in Business Administration and Management with Law; Business Administration and Management with Economics; or Economics with Law.
  • Excellent academic background and fluency in English & Spanish
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for excellence
  • Results-driven, perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Team player with the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities
