About the Role
Our Strategic Communications team in India provides our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including public affairs, financial communications, corporate reputation, and transaction communications in all the major markets around the world.
What You’ll Do
We are growing rapidly across Asia and seeking intern who is passionate in Strategic Communication seeking to broaden their horizons and learn new skills.
This full-time and in-person (not remote) internship program will be for a period of minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension for up to a year. The shortlisted candidate is expected to work at the New Delhi office and attend client sites or the office when requested.
- Track media and policy and regulatory developments tailored to client needs
- Conduct research and analysis on relevant policy and business issues, tailored to client needs.
- Assist in developing communication materials, including press releases, briefing documents, and reports.
- Research companies, industries, and topical policy issues to gain a comprehensive understanding.
- Conduct stakeholder mapping on policy issues tailored to client needs
- Maintain contact lists, media databases, and event calendars to ensure smooth communication processes.
- Support corporate communications and media relations activities, such as liaising with journalists, distributing press releases, and assisting with press conferences (as appropriate).
- Contribute to new business initiatives by conducting prospect research, creating and editing presentations, and assisting with proposal development.
- Attend meetings and events (as appropriate) and prepare clear and concise summaries.
- Develop social media content and contribute to outreach efforts related to public policy (if applicable).
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.
How You’ll Grow
The internship is designed to introduce entry level candidates to the inner workings of an international strategic communications firm. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real-world projects across various industries.
You will have the opportunity to learn and have exposure to a full range of strategic communications services including performing industry research and analysis, executing corporate communications, media relations and investor relations activities and writing client materials.
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate students
- Fluency in English required, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
- Highly motivated and able to work effectively in both large team environments and independently
- Analytical approach to creating work products
- Social, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, with the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to commit to a full-time internship and attend the office
- Available to join immediately or within a short period of time
