About the Opportunity:

We are seeking Analyst candidates with excellent analytical and communication skills to join our team. We are especially interested in candidates with a strong analytical background and an interest in corporate finance and valuation.

The role involves performing quantitative and qualitative research, and using tools of economics and finance to assist in the valuation of companies, projects and damages determinations, as well as in assessing the impact of regulations on businesses. Analysts are involved in nearly all aspects of project work, interacting closely with other analysts, case supervisors and experts.

Analysts are expected to:

  • Collect data and information, both qualitative and quantitative, from appropriate sources (e.g., Internet, library, subscription services, company filings, etc.).
  • Review, aggregate, analyze and interpret client information.
  • Identify, analyze and communicate relevant information (e.g., industry prices and trends, relevant interest rates, performance indicators, academic literature, etc.).
  • Process and interpret the information collected to be used in the preparation of expert reports and analyses.
  • Analyze industry drivers and company profitability.
  • Build complex and customized financial valuation models.
  • Apply economic theory to market and business models.
  • Draft memoranda, presentations and reports to be used in International Arbitration, Antitrust, Litigation, Regulatory Investigations, Valuation and Financial Analysis practice areas.
  • Draft business proposals to attract new clients.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • BA in Economics or Industrial Engineering graduate.
  • Post graduate studies in finance or economics are a plus.

Basic Skills Required

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Full time dedication, commitment to excellence in work product, and willingness to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail, and an ethic of quality in work product.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) is required.
  • Short term travel (not relocation) may be required.
