We offer advice on contractual, technical, commercial and management matters, including:

  • Investigation on entitlement to and quantification of schedule extension and monetary claims;
  • Compliance, accounting and auditing support; 
  • Development and delivery of capital programs, and;
  • Providing expert testimony as related to all the above aspects of capital projects.

 

What you’ll be doing…

  • Assist with the development, update, and/or analysis of project schedules under critical path methodology (“CPM”) using Primavera P6
  • Review and analyze construction cost information
  • Assist in with the preparation of written construction claims, primarily as related to analysis of schedule and quantum issues
  • Perform dispute related analyses such as delay, impact, differing site conditions, cost and damage as well as lost productivity analyses
  • Prepare labor productivity studies
  • Provide assistance and oversight of large capital projects and programs and/or interim review of the same
  • Implement or assist with corrective action plans related to schedule recovery on capital projects


 Basic Consultant Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Accounting
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in construction industry
  • Ideal candidates will hold or be pursuing one or more of the following certifications: licensed professional engineer (PE), certified project management professional (PMP), Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), or Cost Control Professional (CCP)
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point 

 
Preferred Skills

  • Experience and training with Primavera scheduling software
  • Proactive individual with strong drive, ambition, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing work loads, and maintain a high level of organization
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and be resourceful
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Exhibits a strong executive presence and has high level of interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Professional, confident demeanor and appearance
  • Capable of defending positions with rationale arguments
  • Team player with positive and energetic attitude
  • High level of quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills
