Senior Director | Strategic Communications | Japan
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; and
- 10 -15 years of corporate communications, public affairs or related experience in Japan.
- With agency and business consulting experiences.
- Native Japanese, with fluency in English
Preferred Skills
- Ability to advise and secure confidence of senior communications and C-level client contacts;
- Deep understanding of political, legislative and regulatory processes in Japan;
- Track record of managing communications with multiple stakeholders in Japan;
- Media affairs experience and expertise; current relationships with business and political journalists;
- Excellent organizational skills and written and verbal presentation skills;
- Proven project management track record and comfort managing and working with staff at all levels;
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a service-oriented attitude; and
- Ability to work under pressing deadlines across multiple projects and portray calm in the face of difficult situations to clients and other team members.
