ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:


The Project Analyst will assist the Project Director in management of the ERP project, including performance management, document management, meeting coordination, schedule tracking, and status reporting. 

PRIMARY DUTIES: 

• Performance management  
o Assist with monitoring cost (time and expense) charged to the project and associated task codes 
o Help ensure costs are recorded properly on the project (capital vs operating expense, department expense vs investment fund) 
• Document Management 
o Manage and maintain document repository with all project documents and deliverables (on the designated collaboration site such as Sharepoint etc.)
o Assist with administration (set up and user access) of the Project site for internal/external project staff 
• Meeting coordination 
o Facilitate scheduling of meetings, workshops, and training sessions including coordination and management of logistics, meeting notices, arranging technology requirements (WiFi, AV, Telecom, Skype, etc), and taking/posting meeting minutes 
• Schedule Tracking 
o Track and assist in maintaining task status in the Project Schedule (MS Project)  
o Assist in monitoring/updating tasks, dates, resources on the project schedule as needed 
• Status reporting 
o Create weekly performance status updates using the defined template 
o Identify any cost, schedule, resource or technical issues on the project with the support of the project team 
o Compare actual cost vs budget vs projection (forecast) (as directed, at least monthly) 
o Assist in the creation of periodic Executive and other status updates/presentations  
o Actively maintain project log with action items, issues, risks, changes etc. 
 o Alert the PMO of any issues as soon as they are identified 
• Other task as required by the Project Director 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience 


PREFERRED SKILLS: 

• Achievement or current pursuit of PMP (Project Management Professional) certification 
• Familiarity with document management tools (SharePoint) 
• Knowledge of basic accounting 
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills 
• Financial analysis skills, specifically related to project reporting â€¢ Proficiency in MS Project tool  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities to meet deadlines 
• Self-directed with the ability to anticipate needs 
• Must have the ability to quickly analyze and solve problems 
• Must be a team player, highly motivated and detail-oriented 
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
