About The Opportunity:


The Sr. Associate, Marketing - FLC will provide essential marketing support to FTI’s Forensic and Litigation Consulting (“FLC”) segment in North America.

 

Overall Responsibilities:


Handling day-to-day administrative tasks for multiple FLC practices, maintaining FLC practice content on the corporate website, intranet and external microsites; preparing social media messaging; preparing internal/external communications using digital marketing platform; tracking segment communications as well as events, thought leadership and other collateral; archiving and keeping current engagement highlights.

 

This position will report to the FLC North America Marketing Leader.

 

Primary Duties:


The marketing associate’s responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following, primarily for the Disputes; Forensic Accounting and Advisory; GRIP; Data & Analytics; Insurance and Trial Services practices:

 

Analysis and Research

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies, industries, markets, technologies and competitors using variety of print and online tools and resources
  • Formulate and communicate insightful and actionable intelligence to aid strategic decision making to drive business development, profitability, growth, client retention and other business opportunities

Public Relations

  • Provide proactive recommendations to enhance the visibility of the client service professionals, including conferences, sponsorships, memberships, advertisements, and community relations endeavors

Marketing Collateral

  • Maintain and update practice marketing materials, including practice group descriptions, service sheets, and consultant biographies
  • Coordinate and maintain professional photos of consultants
  • Assist with the assembly and printing of brochures, pitch books and event materials, as needed

Events

  • Handle needs for events, seminars and special meetings, and booking meeting rooms, equipment, etc.
  • Coordinate FLC event materials, coordinating with FLC digital team to develop invitations and track RSVP responses, preparing name badges, preparing marketing packets and assisting with follow up.
  • Assist with the development of Twitter posts for relevant FLC accounts to promote events and FLC services.

Website Content

  • Assist with FLC website maintenance including submitting collateral requests and content changes for all practice areas and industries within FLC, updating the events for FLC and relevant industries as well as work with FLC digital team to ensure all bios are uploaded and up-to-date.
  • Assist with Firm intranet information, as necessary.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Mailing Lists

  • Update and retrieve information using the firms CRM database, SalesForce.
  • Assemble email campaigns in SalesForce to manage events and analyze ROI

Additional Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • Other special projects as may be assigned from time to time


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  •  4+ years of marketing experience, or equivalent experience in professional services firms or law firm related to the financial services industry.


Skills:

  • Superior communication including writing, speaking and listening
  • Excellent, concise and persuasive business writing skills (writing sample submissions required)
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design is preferred, including Photoshop, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, WordPress and email management platforms (Eloqua) and client relationship systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Decisiveness and excellent use of independent judgement 
  • Ability to interact, communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Ability to travel as required (15%)
