About the Role

 
Working closely with a Director in our Strategic Communications France division, you will accompany clients in the definition and execution of their corporate communications programmes targeting media influencers and stakeholders. 
 
What You'll Do
 

You will play a fundamental role within the account teams, delivering high-quality work to an array of clients. Responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of corporate communication plans, attendance in client meetings.
  • Develop core communications collateral (eg. press releases, key messages, talking points, Q&As)
  • Engage with the media to deliver ongoing media opportunities
  • Participate in the definition and the execution of plans for sensitive/crisis communications.
  • Support new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and asks the necessary questions to manage firm and client data responsibly.
  • Understands FTI’s values, Code of Ethics and the Strategic Communications Rules of Practice and demonstrates a strong commitment to applying these concepts in daily interactions with colleagues and clients. 
 
How You'll Grow
 
In addition to day-to-day client responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the team and broader FTI Consulting through new business development including:
  • Deliver research and contribute to new business pitch documents for the team as requested.
  • Contribute fresh ideas to team marketing meetings
  •  Proactively network with media and industry contacts, as well as potential clients.
  •  Participate in team meetings by contributing ideas and client information with the team.
  • Share knowledge, insights and experience with colleagues.
  • Develop relationships with other teams within FTI
 
Qualifications & Experience
  • Educated to degree level, eg. Masters/Sciences Po/Business School
  • 2-5 years’ experience of corporate communications within a PR agency or in-house environment

 Personal Requirements   

  • A strong interest and good understanding of core economic mechanisms, financial transactions and restructuring operations
  • A good understanding of the media, how journalists and the press works.
  • Experience of or possess the desire to develop excellent contacts with the media.
  • Expertise in digital communications and social media usage.
  • Experience of supporting clients in sensitive communications situations.
  •  Exceptional written and verbal communications skills in French.
  • Very good level of English (both oral and written)
  • Excellent organisational, planning and people skills
  • High personal energy
