ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

 

This Operations Sr Director position will be part of the Technology Segment’s Core Operations team. The Operations Sr Director will identify, establish, and coordinate the processes, skills, mindsets, performance metrics / management approach, resources, as well as organizational structure required to meet specific business goals. The position will liaise and collaborate closely with Finance, HR, the project management team, and the various business and regional leads to review performance of internal initiatives, build business cases, budgets and forecasts, recommend business procedures, and ensure segment-wide execution against business policies, guidelines and best practices.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Provide PMO support for some of our newest strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate and propose operational efficiencies across the practices/ regions.
  • Establish and enforce processes that will bring cost transparency to help manage the segments expenditures, particularly in Real Estate and Datacenter Operations.
  • Establish and enforce procedures to support the timeliness and accuracy of key finance operations processes: billing, time entry, unit volumes input, collections, etc.
  • Define and conduct specific analyses to derive business insights such as profitability, value loss, etc., present results to leadership.
  • Conduct budgeting/ forecasting, maintain a shadow P&L of specific initiatives.
  • Travel as required to ensure effective management of case activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or BA college degree required.
  • 5+ year experience in project management, account management, or a related field.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Flexibility - ability to work under tight deadlines, ability to handle multiple tasks through prioritization and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading people in a team environment.
  • Experience with budget/ forecast development.
