About the opportunity:
We are seeking a Recruiting Associate to work directly with our Experienced Hire Recruiting Managers to help support the recruiting efforts of FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance Segment. Corporate Finance specializes in a broad spectrum of services, providing assistance to clients around the globe throughout all phases of a company’s financial health. We are the leading provider of turnaround, M&A, performance improvement, financial and operational services with approximately 1,000 colleagues, including over 100 senior managing directors.

Primary duties:
- Schedule and coordinate phone, in-person, and video interviews for candidates; provide prompt support (i.e. last minute cancellations, rescheduling) for interviews, including on-site logistical issues
- Support the Corporate Finance Recruiting Team with the interview and hiring process as needed from initial job requisition posting through on-boarding of new hires •Coordinate marketing and advertising of job postings
- Post approved job descriptions
- Ensure candidates referred by current employees are screened and referral bonuses are properly tracked for payment
- Maintain candidate activity tracking scorecards
- Monitor candidate data and status updates in FTI’s applicant tracking system (Taleo)
- Generate reports for Recruiting Leads
- Coordinate candidate travel with FTI’s internal travel department •Submit expenses and invoices for candidate travel expenses
- Contribute to various recruiting projects on an as-needed basis (metrics, interview training, etc.)
Preferred skills:
- Bachelors degree or a minimum of 4 years work experience
- Long term interest in Recruiting or HR
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be technically savvy with a demonstrated proficiency in using Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
- Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines
- Skilled in organizing tasks and establishing priorities
- Ability to gather data, consistently track metrics, and prepare reports
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems
- Experience using an applicant tracking system, such as Taleo
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Experience as an executive assistant, recruiting assistant or event planning.
