About The Role
- Full time analyst position in the Investment Banking division of FTI in Madrid (FTI Capital Advisors)
- We are looking for an analyst with 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking
What You’ll Do
- Unique opportunity to work within small, focused teams on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financing and capital raising assignments
- Gathering and synthesizing operating and financial information about companies and industries
- Conducting relevant market research to assist with the origination of new M&A transactions
- Developing and maintaining financial models for new transaction
- Search for market data to analyse trends and help value companies and price transactions
- Conduct due diligence (financial, legal, operational, etc.)
- Use a variety of valuation techniques
- Preparation of presentations and memoranda

What You Will Need to Succeed
- Outstanding analytical mind, excellent commercial understanding, strong interpersonal skills, initiative, motivation, commitment and the ability to work as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in business administration/economics or engineering
- Excellent academic background and fluency in English & Spanish
- Previous experience in Investment Banks, M&A Boutiques or Corporate Finance departments of Auditing firms or Corporates is highly valued
- A strong work ethic and a passion for excellence
- Strict attention to detail, be a quick learner, and enjoy working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
- Results-driven, perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities
- Excellent problem solving, organization and verbal and written communications skills
- Strong financial modelling and transaction management skills
