About the Role

The Information Technology Group (ITG) is a collection of people, processes and technology investments that are designed to achieve the business goals of FTI Consulting. The Applications Engineer will provide end user support to FTI’s financial systems as well as support projects as assigned to include integrations/acquisitions. The Applications Engineer will also be responsible for the assessment, identification, and functional definition of requirements / solutions to meet FTI’s business needs. 

What You’ll Do

• Primary responsibilities include responding toTM1, Datamart, and Unit4 ERP systems support calls/tickets using Service Now (SNOW) platform. 
• Assist with identification, analysis, and resolution of issues within the financial system, internal & external interfaces / reporting, and user security 
• Assist with projects as time allows for TM1 and work collaboratively with other system support teams/users to integrate, design, test and implement solutions 
• User Access Setup for TM1, Datamart, Unit4 ERP 
• Set up and maintenance of systems 
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface errors

Basic Qualifications

• ERP experience preferred: 4+ years’ experience working with Financial Systems 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent experience
• Ability to query data using SQL Management Studio
• The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills. 
• The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning, organizational and administrative skills 
• Ability to work independently and as a team player

Preferred Skills 

• Experience in TM1 
• Resolves issues in creative ways utilizing technology 
• Solves problems of moderate to diverse scope 
• Demonstrates judgement in solving technical problems by selecting appropriate tools and techniques 
• Excels receiving limited day-to-day instruction
