About The Role
The Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment provides corporations, governments and law firms around the globe with the industry’s most complete range of multidisciplinary, independent dispute advisory, investigative, data acquisition/analysis and forensic accounting services. FTI Consulting’s Construction, Projects and Assets (CPA) team offers an unparalleled breadth of services focused on improving the lifecycle value for critical capital assets. In addition to partnering with our clients to transform their approach to the asset lifecycle, we regularly fulfill project and operations management roles for clients around the world, leveraging the strength of FTI Consulting’s best practices and technology. What You’ll Do
An Associate Director is responsible for providing consulting services to support our clients’ efforts to improve project delivery across the pillars of people, process, technology and data. Responsibility for the day-to-day delivery activities within our engagements including deliverables to support needs assessments, system selection, requirements definition, system design and implementation, integrations, training and operational support. Tasks may include:
- Facilitates and determines customer requirements and objectives by analyzing business processes, reviewing artifacts, and leading focused requirements workshops
- Builds relationships with all appropriate stakeholders and key leads in various areas to ensure overall project success
- Designs solutions to meet customer requirements through requirement analysis, development of business rules, development of business process diagrams, development of use cases, and drafting of specifications
- Leverages personal and collective team subject matter expertise to drive best practice-based solutions
- Contributes to the development of test cases, training materials, and other content required to ensure successful solution adoption
- Manages a small team of Consultants/Sr. Consultants to deliver engagements
- Mentors, coaches, and trains CPA Consultants and Senior Consultants
- Assesses talent (Internal and External) and provides feedback to management
- Looks for new, different, and innovative ways to leverage existing and new product capabilities to improve performance, improve business results, and create buy-in and commitment within client organizations– pushing the boundaries and capabilities of our integrated delivery teams
- Conducts business process assessments and development of business processes for the successful execution and management of capital projects, routine maintenance, and shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages
- Provides input to the development of Functional Solution Architecture for Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
- Develops engagement specific approaches to Training and Organizational Change Management

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Communications, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Business
- 5+ years of post-graduate, professional work experience in Capital Project consulting (either in Project Delivery or Technology Implementations) or a related profession
- Previous experience in providing consulting services and delivering successful engagements
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to maintain a flexible travel schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and training with the following industry solutions:
- EcoSys EPC / Hexagon PPM
- Procore
- Kahua
- Aconex / Aconex Connected Cost
- Primavera P6 EPPM scheduling software
- Primavera Unifier
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Proficient knowledge of PC environment and related software including Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Excel
- Excellent mathematical and organizational skills
- Team player with positive and energetic attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and exhibits a strong executive presence
- Proactive individual with strong drive, ambition, and enthusiasm
- Experience in business development activities
- Ability to delegate and supervise the work of others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work loads
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and be resourceful
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Fluency in Spanish
