About The Role

Our Transaction practice is growing rapidly and has developed on multiple levels, such as number of deals, deal size and cross-border deals. We are focusing on the midmarket of M&A activity in the Benelux (deal value < EUR 100m) and are actively expanding our international focus with our US colleagues and UK colleagues, both serving the mid-and upper M&A market. To strengthen the leadership within the Transaction practice, we are searching for a (Senior) Manager with a background in financial due diligence and an entrepreneurial mindset.

What You’ll Do:

• Analysis and modelling of financial performance (past and future) of an acquisition target
• Overall responsibility for delivery of smaller projects (with Partner / Director) or responsibility for standalone divisions/sections of FDD on larger projects, including buy or sell side, refinancing and equity raising transactions
• Direct communication with the clients on key issues relating to your sections
• Direct communication and liaisons with M&A bankers and clients on appropriate presentation and business valuation of target opportunities, in line with diligence findings 
• Supervising and mentoring Associates, taking full responsibility for review of their analysis/sections 
• Identifying key value drivers, SPA price adjustments, and deal breakers
• Participate in business development activities such as preparation of pitch documents 
• Effective communication with senior members of the team and clients
• Proactive development of internal and external relationships

What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

• You have up to 3 years of related work experience in a consultancy practice working at an accountancy firm, boutique or consultancy. Big 4 experience is considered a plus.
• You have completed a Bachelor or Master degree in a related field 

Skills and competencies

• Ability to analyse complex financial information 
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to colleagues and clients at different levels of seniority, including C-suite
• Ability to take initiative, initiate and complete tasks efficiently
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
• Fluency in Dutch and good knowledge of English is required
