About The Role

What You’ll Do  

As Consultant, you will be instrumental in providing clients with guidance across various spheres of business. Your role will involve the examination of construction records to identify and solve complex business challenges and will be routinely involved in complex workstreams within larger engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Review: Review project schedules to validate actual progress, assess delays, and evaluate changes.
  • Critical Path Identification: Identify critical and near-critical paths within project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to resource utilization, efficiency, and productivity to inform decision-making.
  • Findings Development: Develop clear findings and comprehensive narratives to support project evaluations and claims.
  • Presentation Preparation: Prepare engaging presentations for status meetings, clearly communicating project updates and analyses.
  • Claim Development: Lead the development of claims, ensuring all relevant documentation and evidence are accurately represented.

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant post grad experience. Which includes: a combination of Consulting, management, and Industry-specific experience.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar project scheduling tools.
  • Proven experience in project scheduling for construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction claims and change orders related to scheduling impacts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Industry experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, chemicals, mining, power and utilities, data centers, fab facilities, or infrastructure.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP).
  • Knowledge of Lean construction principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its applications in project scheduling.
