About The Role
Our Corporate Finance team focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional tests faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
FTI Consulting is seeking a Consultant to join its newly formed Debt Advisory team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing platform advising UK-based corporates and financial sponsors on a broad range of debt financing solutions, with mandates extending across the EMEA region.
The role offers exposure to a variety of capital structures including asset-based lending (ABL), corporate bank facilities, private credit, and hybrid capital solutions. The individual will play a key role in executing transactions, preparing client materials, supporting negotiations, and helping to build relationships across the lending community.
What You’ll Do
You will support senior team members across the full lifecycle of debt advisory engagements, including:
- Preparing marketing and transaction materials for lenders, including presentations, information memoranda, and lender packs
- Supporting the drafting, review, and negotiation of term sheets and financing documentation
- Maintaining detailed financial models, including sensitivity analysis, debt structuring and covenant modelling
- Managing lender outreach workflows including overall process management and coordination
- Actively support business development activities including conducting market and lender research to support financing strategies and develop relevant opportunities
- Building and maintaining personal relationship networks
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the newly established Debt Advisory practice

What You Will Need to Succeed
· Proactive, with a strong work ethic and desire to contribute to the ongoing and overall success of the Corporate Finance segment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing client-facing materials
· Strong analytical skills to support modelling of financing options and debt serviceability
· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment, with a client first attitude
· A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to building a new team platform
Basic Qualifications
· Experience in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate banking, restructuring, accountancy or a related field
· Good understanding of the financial marketplace, its trends and key players (principals and advisers)
· ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
