Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Law or other relevant disciplines
- Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling.
- Professional experience in a Transactions organization or related is preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a consulting or professional services firm. Candidates with more experiences could be considered as Senior Consultant.
- Client or industry experience in at least 1 of the following preferred: Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Technology, Media, or Energy.
- Technical accounting acumen; with a detailed knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements.
- CPA certification, or in-process of obtaining a CPA or other qualified credential would be an advantage.
- Advanced problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
- The ability to conduct detailed research on products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Professional verbal and written communications; including report writing.
- Comfort with qualitative and quantitative aspects of business problems; with the ability to link business strategy to performance and due diligence findings.
- Seasoned in MS PowerPoint and Excel, including creating financial models and develop dynamic applications.
- Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations.
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt in an ever-changing environment to meet client needs.
- Experience within a Transaction Advisory Practice is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25-40%.
- This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices.
