About The Role
We focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
• Participate in full software development lifecycle for large-scale Data Warehouse and Bespoke Data Solutions projects.
• Design and develop data solutions, assume the role of Senior Developer and lead a small squad of junior developers.
• Participate in requirement gathering and demonstrate an ability to understand business logic in tandem with technical applications. Apply a strong degree of critical thinking and self-drive in solution design.
• Design and deliver end to end cloud architectures
• Deliver high quality, performant solutions through advanced SQL, Python and Js
• Demonstrate knowledge of Data Warehouse implementation methodologies across logical, conceptual and physical modelling as well as best practice control frameworks.
• All aspects of Project Management including project planning/estimation, budget management, timeline and change controls. Present progress to sponsor and steering audiences regularly.
• Participate in Business Development activities i.e. creating client proposals
• Demonstrate a working understanding of all aspects of Master Data Management and Data Science.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews and design for junior team members
• Create all required project related documentation e.g. Functional and non-Functional Specifications, Data Dictionaries, operation manuals, technical specifications etc.
• Work closely with Business Intelligence and Reporting Teams & assist in development of dynamic dashboard solutions.
• Assist with organisation wide data architecture review, recommending appropriate initiatives, enhancements and development opportunities for utilization to meet business area goals and drive business growth.
• Interpretation, preparation and mapping of complex financial data and explaining complex technical information.
• Prepare and deliver high quality presentations and project reports for management and clients.
• Steer the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables accompanying business needs.

What You Will Need to Succeed
Required
• 2.1 degree or higher, in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus.
• 3 to 5 years’ previous experience as Data Warehouse/ETL Consultant, Database Developer, SQL Programmer, System Expert, Software Developer, and/or experience with proprietary or open source data integration tools.
• Strong querying, data scrutiny and data flow mapping skills.
• Extensive development experience in ETL and Data warehousing environments.
• Excellent consultative, communication and management skills, strong diagnostic ability and the ability to work effectively with client and team.
• Entitlement to work in Ireland and the UK.
Desired:
• Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work both separately and as part of a team with professionals at all levels and of various disciplines.
• Strong obligation to professional and client service excellence.
• Experience with other BI Tools with Business Objects, ECM, Archival.
• Industry experience in Insurance, Banking, Credit Risk, Telecommunications or Aviation.
