About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and motivated Director, Digital & Insights to drive client strategy and business objectives online. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing integrated multi-channel programs and their amplification and optimization. Working with the Digital and Creative Communications team, the candidate will have a deep understanding of digital/social trends and platforms. The candidate should have experience developing both organic and paid engagement programs and defining and measuring KPIs or OKRs.
Primary Duties
• Design and implement digital social strategy for a variety of account teams across north America, including content creation, analytics, paid social media strategy and oversight, as well as project and account management.
• Take broad concepts and strategy and translate them into meaningful, actionable operating plans for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide counsel to internal and external stakeholders on proactive/responsive digital and social media programs around engagement and/or crisis management.
• Manage all paid social media projects by setting priorities, budgeting, planning, activation and reporting with team members.
• Provide insight on emerging digital and social media trends and best practices and have a hunger to maintain understanding of trends impacting specific industries and sectors.
• Develop strategies to identify and engage influencers and advocates online, whether those are industry influencers, consumers or other constituencies.
• Identify ways to measure success against the campaign goals and achievable outcomes; determine methods to collect and present data and analysis to clients as well as internal stakeholders. • Create and execute accurate budget estimates for clients for long-term and short-term programs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-7 years of experience managing digital and social campaigns. Agency experience is a must; consulting experience and digital advocacy experience is a plus.
• Deep experience in social media strategy, with a bent on paid, across all platforms and communications channels, including but not limited to Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, and similar messaging services.
• Outstanding communications skills, including ability to successfully present program recommendations and establish internal and external relationships as a trusted advisor
• High-energy, strategic thinker and self-starter who likes to solve problems.
• Ability to conduct research, draw conclusions, make recommendations and identify measures of success.
• Experience gathering and analyzing social media conversation data to derive insights and tell a story.
• Ability to use data to optimize social campaigns. Extensive experience developing social media reports for a wide net of executives with varied levels of understanding about social media.
• Experience with some of the following digital + social platforms (Crimson Hexagon, Sprinklr, Spredfast, Netbase, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Traackr, etc.).
