About the Role
You will be responsible for the global deployment and adoption of FTI’s strategic information technology standards within the firm’s global branch offices. The Director of Implementation & Deployment, Office Kits will support the Enterprise Systems Architecture organization by leading project and program administrative efforts. The project administration tasks include project initiation, requirements definition, project planning, proposal and design development, project execution oversight, service transition, project closure, deployment\communications\adoption\training plan development and execution, stakeholder management, risk management and upkeep of project documentation. The program administration tasks include review of Microsoft project plans, status reports, purchase orders and contracts associated with project initiatives and upkeep of program documentation.
The Director works directly with FTI’s Segment Leaders, Global Real Estate, and Workplace Experience teams to design, build, and support IT services within our global branch offices including:
Defining IT requirements with FTI’s business leaders
Identifying appropriate services from our IT service portfolio
Documenting proposed solutions and obtaining stakeholder approvals
Implementing services onsite leveraging in-house and outsourced resources
Preparing operations personnel for ongoing support and management
Supporting practitioners with the adoption of new technologies via organizational change management
Improving processes within internal corporate functions (e.g., Finance, HR, IT, Real Estate, CRM)
Instilling world-class client service and commercial excellence capabilities
What You’ll Do
Initiates projects through the submission of Project Definition Forms
Facilitates and documents scoping and requirements definition meetings with stakeholders
Develops preliminary IT budgets and schedules to satisfy requirements
Reviews project deliverables from team members for quality and completeness
Responsible for the development of proposals and detailed design documentation
Adheres to published standards and follows prescribed exception processes
Provides technical guidance to project team members via regularly scheduled project meetings and track task assignments in documented meeting notes
Coordinates and oversees the execution of project assignments by team members, corporate departments, and third-party vendors
Develops Request For Quote (RFQ) documentation, reviews proposals, and awards contracts to third-party vendors to assist with onsite implementation (where appropriate)
Develops contracts for circuits, HVAC maintenance, audio-visual support, print services, and other related operational services in support of the office build out, negotiates terms and conditions with service providers, and manages contract signing through the ITG Financial Management Office
Develops mitigation strategies to address project risks and issues
Serves as the initial escalation point for other Project Managers in the program to discuss risks and develop mitigation or avoidance strategies
Authors and executes deployment plans to ensure effective rollout of IT services
Creates and executes communications plans to ensure appropriate stakeholder awareness
Produces and executes training & adoption plans to ensure practitioners maximize the utilization of new IT services
Authors and presents training materials to facilitate end user adoption
Leads onsite implementation and deployment activities
Ensures implementations adhere to superior quality standards
Documents and transitions production services to operations personnel for ongoing maintenance & support
Compares actuals to estimates to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
Completes and leverages lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement
Facilitates and documents assigned program coordination meetings
Maintains and posts project documentation to management portals
Proactively identifies and communicates issues to leadership
Confirms all appropriate documentation, requirements, design and test specifications, templates and other required deliverables are created and reviewed/approved by external and internal stakeholders
Reviews and facilitates on-time delivery of organizational contracts
Reviews contracts for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submissions
Coordinates and tracks procurements across projects to ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions
Develops weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on project status for the leadership of the Implementation & Deployment program
Primary reviewer and editor of all documentation developed by the Office Kit team, including by other Project Managers in the program, before submission to I&D leadership when seeking OCIO approvals
Lead developer of Architecture Exception Request documentation for evaluation and approval by the OCIO

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science
Project Management Professional (PMP) and\or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
Experience managing multiple IT projects within a global professional services organization
Experience designing and implementing IT services within branch offices
Experience managing vendors to ensure timely and complete delivery of assigned tasks
Experience communicating with senior leadership in written and verbal formats
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio
Experience developing and maintaining Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Checklists
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud services
Experience with the ServiceNow IT Management Suite
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide sponsorship
Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to provide on-call support via cell phone for after-hours communication/support
Ability to work additional hours as required
Physical labor, which may include moving equipment up to 22kg (50lbs) and flexibility to crawl underneath desks or tables to access network jacks and electric receptacles
