About The Role
In FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization, we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
Within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, the Office of the CFO Solutions practice offers solutions to help our clients maximize performance and position themselves to proactively meet today’s increasing challenges. The Planning and Performance Management team provides CFOs with resources, tools and data driven analytics to enable transformation efforts, profitable revenue growth and cost optimization.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and help support and execute client engagements.
Areas of Expertise and Client Engagement Activities & Deliverables
- FP&A: Develop and build reporting and forecasting tools to support annual budgeting, rolling forecast processes, long-range planning and cash flow forecasting
- Performance Management: Enable decision-making through the development of operational KPIs, profitability analyses and dimensional P&L reporting
- Financial Modeling: Develop driver-based integrated three-statement models, capital allocation and other investment analyses, and evaluation of strategic options
- Enterprise Performance Management (EPM): Optimize and automate financial close and consolidation, provide data design and management recommendations and develop advanced data analytics
- Transactions: Assess opportunities for growth by supporting M&A strategies, due diligence processes, negotiations, and post-close integration
Role on Engagement
- Anticipating and responding to client needs and presenting portions of work product to client
- Working independently and collaboratively with project teams to develop work products and deliverables, while demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
- Assisting with internal practice development and marketing efforts
- Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to junior level staff

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related program
- 3+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in financial consulting or advisory; or in a Corporate rotational program focused on developing financial leaders in a finance or accounting function
- Ability to understand and advise on complex financial and operational concepts and issues; and translate those to clear and actionable recommendations and insights
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel and ability to develop financial models with minimal oversight
- Ability to travel to client sites and FTI office(s) as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification
