About the Role
FTI Information Governance, Privacy and Security (IGPS) practice is designed to help organisations better manage their information. Based on the Information Governance Reference Model, FTI Technology’s IGPS is a fast-growing practice that has launched several consulting offerings designed to both minimise data risk as well as reduce costs associated with the creation, use, production and disposal of information.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support critical delivery of privacy compliance and technology ethics advisory and technical implementation projects in the IGPS space for corporations, law firms and government entities.
· Lead time-critical technical projects such as privacy and AI impact assessments, maturity assessments, strategic uplift plans, data normalisation, data cleansing, data mapping and data transformation.
· Support or lead assessments, ability to work with diverse client stakeholders across technical, legal and functional stakeholders and identify and document potential technical and security related control gaps.
· Demonstrated ability to listen to diverse client requirements and make pragmatic recommendations and ability to produce client polished deliverables/work products.
· Ability or interest in supporting business development opportunities
· Develop technology blueprints, target operating models, and data mapping documents
· Utilise file analysis and structured data archiving tools to perform technical data assessments and perform remediation across diverse data sets (unstructured, structured, cloud, etc.)
· Be client service-oriented to meet client deadlines, including working out of business hours when necessary
· Responsible for day-to-day client engagement and follow up, interaction with other consultants, 3rd party suppliers, and internal FTI stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
· Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, including but not limited to Law, Knowledge/Records Management, Cyber Security
Preferred Skills:
· Strong communication skills and attention to detail with a focus on quality of work
· Excellent communication and client presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
· Strong technical expertise in manipulation and management of data with ability to quickly learn and operate new tools as required by client.
· Preferrably Certifications in the above, including CIPM, CIPP, CIPT.
· Certifications in product suits including Microsoft, OneTrust BigID or other relevant technologies.
· Experience in management consultancy
· Positions or experience with corporate data environments, legacy data environment, databases and/or security experience preferred
· Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
· Ability to effectively engage clients, preferred experience in dealing with regulated industries such as financial services, insurance or life sciences
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including an understanding of how to interpret business requirements and translate them into application and operational requirements
· Self-starter that demonstrates an ability to quickly solve complex problems with a client-oriented approach, with well thought out innovative solutions
· Ability to manage client relationships and provide superior client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
· Ability to think clearly under pressure and be solution oriented with clients
· Strong logical reasoning skills
· Appreciation of working across the APAC region and in a global environment
· Knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance features are a plus
Experience:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a client facing management consultancy role working with regulated or large corporate environments, or in large corporate environments
· Client experience in privacy compliance or advisory, information and data governance, or security related projects
· In house experience in privacy compliance and advisory.
· Experience of privacy, information-related frameworks, standards, codes and methodologies
· Experience of handling large, diverse and complex data sets in a corporate environment
· Experience with machine learning methods to support identification, classification and/or remediation data
· Business development and commercial awareness
· Agile and waterfall methodology concepts and experience
· Exposure or use of tools such as OneTrust, Securit.ai, BigID, Microsoft 365, IBM Atlas, Nuix, Exterro, StoredIQ, Tableau, SQL
