About the Role 

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director to lead transformational initiatives in applied technology and artificial intelligence. This is a high-impact, managerial role responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of innovative tech-driven solutions—particularly those that intersect with the legal sector.

 

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in technology transformation, AI integration, and product development (non-technical side), combined with a strong understanding of law firm operations and legal innovation consulting. This role requires a leader who can not only manage complex projects but also engage with clients at the highest level, driving value through innovation and operational excellence.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead large-scale transformation projects involving applied technology and artificial intelligence, from strategy to execution
  • Oversee cross-functional teams responsible for product design, project delivery, and change management
  • Manage the lifecycle of tech product development (from ideation to launch), with a focus on user experience, value proposition, and operational impact
  • Collaborate closely with legal stakeholders (law firms and corporate legal departments) to identify pain points and co-create innovative solutions
  • Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong commercial relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements in AI and legal technology to ensure the continuous evolution of service offerings
  • Support internal capability building, coaching project teams, and fostering a culture of innovation and agility

What You Will Need To Succeed 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+  years of post-graduate professional experience in technology, innovation, or tech transformation-related roles
  • Postgraduate degree in areas related to Innovation, Technology, Project Management or equivalent (mandatory)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in managing technology implementation projects, AI applications, legal tech transformations, and legal service delivery models
  • Strong skills in technology product strategy, design, go-to-market, and development of AI/Gen AI strategies, with a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and client-facing capabilities, demonstrating the ability to manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives
  • Familiarity with legal industry operations, legal process improvements, emerging legal technologies, and business development within professional services or legal sectors
