ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:


The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support for three or more senior managing directors and several managing directors in FTI’s Corporate Finance practice.
 
PRIMARY DUTIES:    
 
•    Responsible for handling confidential and time sensitive material.
•    Prepare engagement letters and maintenance of administrative engagement files.
•    Prepare and enter detailed time and expenses including reconciliation of expenses.
•    Coordinate travel arrangements.
•    Prepare PowerPoint presentations for proposals.
•    Maintain and organize files.
•    Maintain and update Microsoft Office Outlook contact lists.
•    Actively use Salesforce to update contacts, submit pursuits, conflict checks and forecasting.
•    Assist in organization of practice development meetings and events.
•    Assist with communications, including making, receiving and directing calls, taking messages and managing e-mail.
•    Manage FTI sponsorship for professional organization.
•    Maintain working calendars and schedules for meetings.
•    Type reports and correspondence including letters and memoranda.
•    Ordering meals and refreshments for meetings and work sessions.
•    Photocopying and scanning as needed.
 
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
•    Minimum 4 years of experience providing administrative support to executives in a corporate or professional services environment.
•    High school diploma.
 
PREFERRED SKILLS:


•    Minimum two years towards Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred
•    Friendly and caring personality combined with a team player approach to executing at work.
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•    Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, including ability to create and edit tables and type financial data.
•    Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar skills.
•    Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
•    Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment and prioritize tasks appropriately.
•    Professional, dependable and able to work overtime on short notice if needed.
