About the Role

We are involved in complex, global and high-profile litigation, arbitration and investigations combining end-to-end risk advisory, investigative and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients. 
 

The Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice (“FLC”) in FTI is seeking an Executive Assistant to support one of their Partners. This is an opportunity for someone with excellent all round skills.

 

Candidates must be highly organised with the ability to juggle and prioritise the demands of a busy Partner.  The candidate should have advanced Word and PowerPoint skills, and forward planning skills with a proactive and positive approach. Accuracy and attention to detail essential. This role is suited to someone who enjoys a full, varied and sometimes deadline driven day, able to interactive confidently with clients and staff at all levels, with strong work ethics and a can-do attitude. Candidates must have the ability to prioritise workload, cope and adapt under pressure and have the ability to handle confidential issues with utmost sensitivity. 



What You'll Do

  • Organise and manage a complex diary and travel itinerary and able to co-ordinate schedules within different time zones;
  • Proactively manage the inbox and calendar;
  • Preparation of reports, proposals, presentations and contracts using the most suitable and effective medium of communications;
  • Client management – maintaining client files, opening matters, dealing with clients as a first point of call and billings;
  • Maintaining client contacts effectively, managing BD meetings and keeping CRM system up-to-date;
  • Successful liaison with segment administrative teams, operations and infrastructure teams;
  • Relationship building with counterparts in other offices and Corporate teams, such as Accounts Payable and Billing;
  • Tracking of sub-contractor arrangements if required, maintaining the sub-contractor register and managing invoice reconciliation and processes;
  • Provide general administrative support to the Partner including managing time entry, invoices and expenses in a timely manner;
  • Gathering information and submitting conflict checks;
  • Ensuring the company’s processes and systems are accurate and updated;
  • Training new joiners as required on the company’s systems and processes.  

Qualifications & Experience
  • The successful candidate must be educated to a good level with sound qualifications in English and Maths and good knowledge of IT and Office systems.  Proven experience of working for senior managers, preferably within a professional services, consulting or financial background, is highly desired. 
  • The role will be suited to someone who has experience of working at a senior level and enjoys a full and sometimes deadline-driven day. Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to establish rapport with people at all levels is very much a key skill.  This is a demanding role with high expectations.  The successful candidate will be self-assured, flexible, reliable with a positive demeanour and the ability to remain calm under pressure.  The nature of the role will sometimes require that the successful candidate work outside core hours at short notice
