Position Summary


The HR Coordinator role is primarily responsible for coordinating recruitment and learning activities across the FTI Consulting Australia business. They will assist with experienced hiring and graduate recruitment across all segments and locations within Australia and will ensure that there is a high level of communication with candidates and Hiring Managers.  In addition to the core responsibilities, the role will provide support to the Human Resources team in learning coordination, general HR administration and HR project work as needed.  They will contribute to the HR function by maintaining a professional manner at all times and by providing excellent client service to our internal employees and external contacts.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with end-to-end strategic recruiting process, working effectively with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs
    Manage job postings and candidate data via Taleo
  • Utilise direct sourcing methods to proactively identify and shortlist top talent for open vacancies (across multiple lines of business/disciplines/geographies) using LinkedIn Recruiter, Taleo and other talent engagement methods
  • Responsible for delivery of and processes encompassing recruiting to on-boarding (contract drafting, visa applications, reference and background checks etc.)
  • Shortlist candidates via phone screening and work with the business segments to coordinate interviews
  • Obtain and pass on feedback to candidates and agencies following interviews
  • Understand FTI Consulting’s business and culture to help candidates fully understand our unique selling points and career opportunities
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of all HR aspects of the Internship/graduate recruitment campaigns
  • Co-ordinate and attend events such as career fairs, assessment days and recruiting specific events
  • Maintain visibility of all open vacancies and opportunistic recruiting needs and provide regular reporting updates to senior leadership and global recruitment contacts
  • Track and report all recruiting activities in Taleo to ensure accurate metrics and reporting
  • Prepare marketing materials for graduate activities and new starters and keep inventory (i.e. brochures, gifts, etc.) up to date
  • Assist with logistics for leaning and development events, including sending out course invitations to attendees, preparing learning materials, sourcing and booking course venues and organising catering
  • Track attendance at learning & development events and ensure attendance is recorded in the central LMS
  • Evaluate training procedures, analyse course effectiveness and update curriculum and course logistics as needed
  • Processing study reimbursement and professional membership applications
  • Coordinate the quarterly new joiner induction program
  • Coordinate FTI’s health & wellbeing program nationally
  • Administering superannuation and insurance plans, including enrolments, changes, and terminations
  • Answering employee requests and questions
  • Assist with creating HR content for FTI Connect (monthly newsletter)
  • Provide additional support on various ad hoc/ on-going HR projects where required

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years Human Resources coordination experience required, preferably related to professional services.
  • Specific recruitment experience or exposure to graduate recruitment programs in a professional services environment would be an advantage; exposure to online recruitment tools and/or LinkedIn Recruiter would also be an advantage
  • Experience in coordinating in house and external learning programs required; exposure to survey tools and analysing data an advantage
    University degree – preferably in Human Resources or business-related discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Credible and results orientated with demonstrated experience in client relationship management
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change and high-volume recruitment with the constant challenge of multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Team player with the ability to build partnerships with clients, vendors/ preferred suppliers and HR colleagues
  • Accountable for projects and own time management
  • Highly motivated with a proactive work ethic and an eye for detail
  • Ability to use initiative and “think on your feet” to meet business requirements
  • Able to handle the highest level of confidential issues with the utmost sensitivity
  • A basic knowledge of Australian employment law or best practice procedures would be advantageous
