About the Opportunity:
The HR Services assistant is a critical support role that ensures the success of the other members of the Global HR Services team in the execution of their daily activities. While the role will focus on administrative duties, opportunities exist to get involved with HR specific support work that can and will provide exposure to HR subject matter and data. As such, the role incumbent will need to be responsive to requests and manage a high volume of work in a highly dynamic environment.
Primary Duties:
• Management, coding, and tracking of all invoices and expenses across all Corporate HR departments (Learning & Development, Recruiting, HR Service Center, Global Mobility, HRIS, etc.).
• Assistance with HR Service Center projects involving data entry, filing and record maintenance, large mailings, etc.
• Daily scanning and labelling of documents to be saved into Electronic Document repository.
• Processing of global terminations (including research and instructions on post-employment payments and repayments)
• Processing of all unemployment claims and employment verification requests globally.
• General administrative duties; HR hotline rotation, daily mail pickup, management of incoming faxes, ordering meal service and preparing conference rooms.
• Oversight of global Promissory Note/Loan process for Senior level employees.
• Available for after-hours on-call rotation.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Skills:
• Ability to multi-task
• Quick learner and willingness to help/teach others
• MS PowerPoint and MS Visio
• Familiarity with Excel and MS Word
• Strong work ethic and accountability
• Demonstrated team player
