What You Will Need to Succeed
The Intern will be expected to work on several strategic, economic, financial and regulatory projects at the same time, delivering their work with increasing autonomy.
To deliver effective analyses, the successful candidates should have demonstrated a strong interest in the energy and infrastructure industry, through their degree and/or previous internships, ideally on strategic, economic, financial and/or regulatory issues in the energy sector (renewables, electricity, H2, carbon market, natural gas, oil...).
The successful candidate is further expected to possess:
- Academic background: Exceptional academic credentials in Finance, Economics, Management, and/or Engineering from a top-tier international university (Master’s degree or higher).
- Quantitative skills: A robust quantitative background to perform detailed economic and financial analyses. Knowledge in financial analysis, although not a requirement, would be positively assessed;
- Attention to detail: A high level of rigor in work execution, with attention to details;
- Adaptability: A capability to be flexible and adapt quickly to the diversity of assignments, and different types of client configurations;
- Communication skills: Strong communications skills, both orally and in written form, which will allow the candidate to present his or her work to decision-makers in an effective and convincing manner;
- Continuous improvement : A willingness to learn continuously and to face new challenges;
- Language proficiency: The candidates must be able to speak and write fluently in English. Any additional language will be positively assessed.
