About the Role

We are involved in complex, global and high-profile litigation, arbitration and investigations combining end-to-end advisory, investigative and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients. More specifically, we are a team of technical cybersecurity experts with experience in all or some of the following: cyber intelligence collection, incident response, insider threat analysis, network operations, emerging cyber policy, security operations (malware analysis, specialized cloud expertise, forensic expertise, penetration testing and red/purple teaming, and application security testing). With offices worldwide, we can uncover and analyze critical information wherever a need exists—no matter how intricate the investigation may be.

 

As an intern, you will assist and work closely with other cybersecurity and forensic experts, where you will typically undertake tasks such as security policy review, security controls testing, system and application configuration testing, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.  You will benefit from on-the-job coaching from experienced members of the team and gain valuable experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and team work to better equip you for a successful career in this field.  You will also have the extraordinary opportunity to learn from experienced professionals who will provide mentorship and guidance throughout the internship. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in conducting cybersecurity assessments and consultancy projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and supporting documentations.
  • Research emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing where skillsets are applicable.
  • Assist in incident response and investigation cases where skillsets are applicable.
  • Support the team in meeting material preparations, meeting minutes and project administrative tasks.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

 

Key Requirements

 

  • Currently undertaking a bachelor’s degree in STEM but not limited to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, etc.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Familiar with Microsoft applications.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python, is a plus.
  • Have the right to work in Hong Kong.
