What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

·       An interest in exploring a career in communications, PR and/or public affairs

·       Due to graduate in 2027, be in your penultimate year of study and are expected to obtain a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) at any university or degree discipline

Preferred Qualifications

·       A strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude

·       Show an interest in, and understanding of, the different forms of media

·       Show an interest in political and global affairs

·       Excellent writing, grammar and numeracy skills (these will be tested as part of the interview process)

·       Outstanding communication skills – in person, in writing and on the phone

·       Strong detail orientation, time management and self-organisation

·       An ability to work individually and as part of a team

·       Creative flair and the ability to think outside the box

·       Proactivity, and confidence to volunteer for a task without being asked

·       A flexible approach to work, particularly in pressurised situations, and being able to think on your feet

·       An ability to grasp and succinctly summarise complex issues

·       An ability to network and build contacts

STEP 2: Complete a pre-recorded video interview

STEP 3: Attend a competency-based video interview to explore your skills and motivations between 26th- 30th January 2026. 

STEP 4: Attend in-person interview at our FTI Dublin office between 9th - 20th February 2026. 

STEP 5: Job offers are made to successful candidates by 2nd March 2026.
