About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Intern to join our public sector consulting team in Munich this July 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in consulting, working on complex and high-profile projects that drive meaningful impact for our clients. As an Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals across various disciplines, supporting the delivery of high-quality advisory services to clients in the public and private sectors.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for problem-solving, strategic thinking, and delivering data-driven insights. You will have the opportunity to develop your consulting skills while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Policy & Market Research: Conduct research on public policies, regulatory frameworks, and socio-economic trends; analyse government reports, legislation, and industry best practices.
- Data Analysis & Problem-Solving: Collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data (e.g., government expenditure, public satisfaction surveys, economic indicators).
Project Management Support: Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and strategic plans. - Stakeholder Engagement: Help facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions with public sector clients.
- Policy & Program Evaluation: Analyse the impact of government programs and initiatives.
- Report Writing & Presentations: Prepare clear, concise reports and recommendations for government clients, develop PowerPoint presentations and briefing documents for senior officials.

What You Will Need to Succeed
- Education: On track to complete a master’s degree in economics, business, political science, public administration, law, or a related field with excellent academic performance.
- Experience: Experience in public sector or public sector related matters desired.
- Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex business challenges with a structured and logical approach.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German. Knowledge of additional language will be considered an asset. Ability to present insights and ideas clearly and persuasively.Collaboration & Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in teams and across diverse client environments.
- IT Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with data visualization tools or programming languages is a plus.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural Competence: Awareness and sensitivity to diverse business and cultural contexts.
- Ethics & Integrity: Commitment to professional integrity and high ethical standards in consulting engagements.
