A Day in the Life of a Recruiting Associate…
We are seeking a Recruiting Associate to work directly with our Recruiting Managers to help support the full-time recruiting efforts of FTI Consulting’s Corporate Recruiting Team. This position offers the opportunity for growth, exposure to multiple HR functions, and a great team environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Schedule and coordinate phone, in-person, and video interviews for candidates Provide prompt support (e.g. last-minute cancellations, rescheduling) for interviews, including resolution of on-site logistical issues
- Support the Corporate Recruiting Team with the interview and hiring process as needed from initial job requisition posting through new hire on-boarding
- Post approved job descriptions
- Track and record employee referral bonuses. Monitor candidate data and status updates in FTI’s applicant tracking system (Taleo)
- Generate various reports
- Coordinate candidate travel with FTI’s internal travel department
- Submit expenses and invoices for candidate travel expenses
- Contribute to various recruiting projects on an as-needed basis (e.g. metrics, interview training, etc.)
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
What Are We Looking For?
- Long term interest in Recruiting or HR Technically savvy with a demonstrated proficiency in using MS Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
- Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines Skilled in organizing tasks and establishing priorities
- Ability to gather data, consistently track metrics, and prepare reports
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems
- Experience using an applicant tracking system, such as Taleo
- Experience in a professional services or corporate setting a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- At least 1 year of experience in a human resources, recruiting, or related function
- Technical proficiency in Outlook and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
