About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor/Manager to manage the dedicated experienced hire recruitment for some specific practice areas within EMEA as well as manage the programmes of graduate activities across all practice areas. This is an opportunity for an individual with proven, hands-on recruitment experience at both experience hire and graduate level who is interested in the challenge of developing a role and helping to create, drive and deliver recruitment strategy. The role will provide full life-cycle recruitment support and will be responsible for recruiting for a breadth of skills, from entry-level to our most senior levels within the firm. This person will report to the Recruitment Senior Manager (EMEA Recruiting Lead) and will work closely with the recruitment team in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management:
  • Build relationships with the partners/hiring managers within the segment to understand their current and future recruitment requirements, assisting with the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies and talent plans to address those requirements
  • Work with the business to define each role and the recruitment process (including the interview and testing)
  • Provide regular updates to the partners/hiring managers and the Recruitment Manager on open vacancies, sourcing strategies, candidates in the pipeline all the way through to the agreed offer progress for each role
Day to Day Recruitment:
  • Ensure all tasks in the recruitment process run seamlessly, including:
    • Create and maintain job postings on internal and external sites, building relationships and negotiating rates with preferred providers
    • Build and manage a database of direct candidates utilising a variety of direct sourcing initiatives (such as LinkedIn, head hunting, working with relevant job boards and networking events)
    • Suggest ways to creatively source using a multitude of resources to generate qualified candidates o Manage and maintain effective PSL agency contacts to source candidates, share knowledge and build a consistent employer brand
    • Screen CV’s, design appropriate selection methodologies, schedule and participate in interviews where appropriate
    • Manage (often complex) offer negotiations through both third parties and directly, including the management of the visa process where applicable through partnership with an external law firm and the UK Border Agency
    • Build strong relationships both within the business and externally to grow strong personal networks to aid in industry and HR knowledge, effectively providing a sounding board to hiring managers on current recruitment trends and industry information o Consistent and accurate tracking of metrics and provision of reports to stakeholders on a regular basis through the effective use of our ATS, Taleo
    • Act as an advocate and drive initiative for FTI’s employer brand; through the development of coherent and consistent communications to market and candidates and focusing on the FTI value proposition, the culture and the working environment 
Projects:
  • Full management of graduate recruitment across all practice areas, to include advertising, screening, assessment centre creation, co-ordination and facilitation and offer management and onboarding
  • Work with the marketing team to develop our online presence and social media strategy (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, selected job boards) with a particular focus on graduate hiring

Education and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent), ideally in a business or HR related subject
  • CIPD qualification desirable

Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritising multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems
  • Able to work with and effectively manage key stakeholders by using an adaptable and flexible approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines
  • Skilled in organising tasks and establishing priorities
  • Ability to gather data, consistently track metrics, and prepare reports
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Team player

Experience:
  • Significant experience in the full life recruitment cycle across a variety of levels within experienced hire, managing multiple vacancies at any one time
  • Experience in graduate recruitment, including advertising, screening and building and running assessment centres
  • Experience working with a professional services or corporate environment
  • Experience of managing multiple key stakeholders through the recruitment process
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as applicable to the employment, recruitment and placement of new hires
  • Proven experience in negotiating with headhunters and recruitment agencies to minimise costs whilst ensuring maximum loyalty and service
  • Experience with Taleo or other recruitment and applicant tracking systems
