About The Role
In our Turnaround & Restructuring practice, we support companies facing challenging financial circumstances with a motivated, experienced and hands-on team. We step in when it really matters and the sense of urgency is high. Your work will make a visible difference: our approach is solution-oriented, practical, senior-led and fully integrated with client teams. Your work does not stop at the report, that is where it begins.
As a Senior Consultant, you will take a leading role in operational restructuring engagements. You will help clients design and implement turnaround plans and realize a broad range of initiatives, ranging from commercial excellence to procurement and working capital optimization. Our clients include banks, debt funds, private equity investors and corporates, and you will work closely with their senior stakeholders. You will help shape the development of our Operational Restructuring offering and play an active role in building the team and our market presence.

What You’ll Do
Supporting the delivery of our core offering in operational restructuring and turnaround execution. This will include:
Working side-by-side with management teams to diagnose performance issues and implementing pragmatic, results-driven solutions.
Analysing business performance to identify key operational and financial drivers of underperformance.
Designing and executing turnaround and performance improvement plans focused on efficiency, profitability and cash flow.
Assimilating complex information and formulating structured, pragmatic and meaningful client recommendations.
Conducting detailed operational and financial data analyses and translating insights into tangible, measurable actions.
Embedding with clients to ensure initiatives are implemented effectively and delivering sustained impact.
Presenting findings and progress in both written reports and verbal updates to management and other stakeholders.
Managing key stakeholders and inspire change across different levels of seniority.
Developing, managing and sustaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the Firm, helping to identify follow‑on opportunities.
Leading, coaching and upskilling junior team members, providing day‑to‑day guidance, feedback and quality review of their work.
Actively managing project economics and overall programme governance, including planning and reporting.
Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives, such as proposal development, thought leadership and networking activities, to strengthen our position in the market.

What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in restructuring, performance improvement or strategy consulting, or equivalent experience in a tier‑one consultancy firm or relevant industry transformation role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluency in Dutch and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational information as input for decision‑making and to challenge team output.
Proven experience supporting clients throughout the operational transformation lifecycle, from strategic opportunity assessment and planning through to delivery of specific initiatives.
Demonstrable experience of working on complex operational change programmes, ideally in time‑pressured or distressed situations.
Experience managing stakeholders, including C‑suite, and building consensus around change.
Ability to manage ambiguity and conflicting priorities in fast‑paced environments, while maintaining a structured, outcome‑oriented approach.
High‑impact communication skills, with extensive experience developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations that synthesise analyses and communicate key conclusions to senior audiences.
Track record of leading and developing team members, including coaching on analytical approaches and client communication.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and build strong cross‑functional relationships, including drawing on expertise from different parts of the Firm.
Ability to leverage technology‑enabled and digital tools to deliver efficiently for clients.
Master’s degree or equivalent.
